First off, im not exactly sure where i should post this question, thats why it was here. So anyways....

The other day i was playing with this one guy. he was an Assassin/Ranger, he used a bow, all bow stuff, it was really cool. he was REALLY good, so i wanted to use his build, I asked him, he gave it to me, I was happy... Then i looked at his armor. he looked like he was wearing Ranger armor, but he was an assassin, and i was confused, but he looked really cool. I didnt want to annoy him by asking what armor he had, but now i really want to know.

Does anyone have any idea what he might have been using?

Hmm... well, uh, for starters that's a Ranger (I think) in the vid, his attack animations are that of a ranger, and it looks like Ancient armor/Sunspear Armor (?), with Law and Order daggers, but texmodded to look really dark. Oh, and Mask of the Mo Zing, which is a universal mask and makes any profession look like a sin, lol.

Dunno about the A/R you saw though, cuz sins can't wear ranger armor. Here and here might be able to help. And are you sure it was an A/R, not an R/A?

You should have fielded your question to Q&A.

Your description doesn't give us enough that we could do anything more than guess.

You can look through the gallery of armors on the wiki here to see if anything looks similar. Right now, I can tell you that you might want to be looking at ranger armors instead of assassin armors for what's in the video, and that he may have altered the look/color of his armor through TexMod anyways.

well, I can't think of any armor for sins that looks like ranger armor. He was probably wearing some sort of general armor (like dragon gauntlets) in addition to what armor he had on.
but, here's a link to all the assassin armors so you can look and see which one it was.

And in the video, that armor is not available. He used a program known as TextMod to alter his character's appearance. Only he can see the change, no1 around him can see it.
However, it looks as though he used elite luxon armor (he is playing on a ranger) as the base and has Mask of the Mo Zing (common armor) as the head peice.

im positive he was an Assassin/Ranger because at first he was using daggers and was using melee, then he switched over the the bow and bow skills after our other party members left. ive looked through all the assassin armors on wiki and none of em look like how he did. he had a hood if that helps some, im still kind of confused as to what it could have been

If he had a hood, I'm guessing that he had the Shining Blade purchasable costume thingy, and maybe he was using the bow to pull/rupt.

The armor in the video is Ancient with Elite Canthan for the vest. But I'm pretty sure he used Texmod to make it so dark.

If you're asking about a decent Assassin/Ranger bow build, here's one that works incredibly well (crit barrage w/ zealous recurve bow):

[asuran scan][distracting shot][ebon battle standard of honor][barrage][critical eye][way of the master][favorable winds][pain inverter]

[critical agility] is also a nice title skill. However, seeing as how you can spam [barrage] almost non-stop, I don't think I'd substitute it for EBSoH, PI, or AS...
